Bible School

Last week was quite the busy week! We had Bible School each day. Nathan and Emma attended their classes while Samuel stayed in the nursery so I could work with the 1st graders. We all had a great time!

The other day I heard Nathan and Emma in the kitchen singing a song they had learned at Bible School:

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Dad... happy kids...

Our Father's Day was spent hanging out together,

playing outside, and getting a special ice cream treat all with a very special Daddy.

Bike riding blues

We took Emma to the nearby school so she would have a good stretch of concrete on which to ride her new bicycle.

She took right off and did GREAT!

She got a little over zealous when turning and fell off. Daddy & I were sad that she had this experience so soon!

Thankfully, she just had a slightly skinned knee.

FABULOUS FOUR!

Our 4-year-old Sweetheart

It really is amazing to look at Emma and realize that there is no more baby there... no hint of the toddler we once knew... she is 100% Little Girl (and on some days I might even say "Little Lady"). She is a bright, spirited, creative, musical, loving, inquisitive child. While I am eager to see how she continues to grow and develop, part of me wants to just stop the clock! This is going too quickly!

Cartooning

This week Nathan has been attending a Cartooning class at our local art museum. He came home the first day very proud that he "learned how to draw faces!"

Happy Birthday Emma!

Our sweet Emma turned 4 today!

She was so excited for her party day (last Saturday) and also for her "real" birthday! At her party, before we'd had cake or opened any gifts she said, "THIS IS THE MOST WONDERFUL DAY OF EVER!"

Grand-parents

We had a nice visit from Brian's parents last weekend to help us celebrate Emma's birthday. The kids enjoyed every second of the time we spent with them!

Razz!

We are blessed to have TONS of raspberries this year! We've been picking a nice sized bowl full once or twice a day for the last week. No sign of stopping or even slowing down yet! YUM!
